Meet the Seiler Skin & Cosmetic Laser &Spa Staff

Our facility differs from most by incorporating medical procedures, performed by Dr. Seiler, along with relaxing spa treatments performed by our experienced staff. Our facility is elegant and upscale and our staff is highly trained and licensed in several arenas.

Procedures and spa treatments are available to you in one location in the heart of Homewood, in the center of sophisticated Soho Square. Dr. Seiler is hands on and performs all medical procedures himself. He is also involved in every aspect of the medical spa, being the owner, director, and physician.

Warren B. Seiler III, M.D. - Owner/Medical Director

Dr. Seiler obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame where he graduated with honors. He completed his medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. After training in the general surgery at Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama, Dr. Seiler completed further training certifying him in cosmetic laser and aesthetic procedures. Dr. Seiler is the only physician from Alabama to apply for and complete the requirements for board certification in cosmetic laser surgery from the American Board of Laser Surgery. He is currently board certified in cosmetic laser surgery. He is a fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. His professional interests include skin rejuvenation, cosmetic laser and aesthetic procedures, laser facial resurfacing, and use of laser scanning in the development of breast prosthetics for cosmetic and post-mastectomy patients in association with Contour Med. He is a Preceptor and Trainer for Lumenis Laser Company. Dr. Seiler performs all of the medical procedures himself
that are offered here at the laser center.

Dr. Seiler recently achieved fellow status with the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.

Dr. Seiler was nominated and is now a member of the Strathmore Who's Who for physician recognition.

Marilyn Wynn

Marilyn comes to Fusion Spa with 18 years of experience with the McCollough Plastic Surgery Clinic in Birmingham, and 5 years managing a Birmingham spa. Her management experience in the service industry offers the professional image that we want to provide to our clients at Fusion Spa.

Brittany Poe

Brittany Poe, a native of Birmingham, Alabama, is a licensed aesthetician and a graduate of Skinactics School of Aesthetics. She specializes in medical aesthetics and has trained with various skin care lines including Obagi and Dermalogica. Brittany performs a variety of facials, waxing, and peels, and she specializes in skin care and skin care analysis.

Kim Monroe

Kim Monroe is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. Kim brings with her 25 years experience as a caregiver, which sets her apart and makes her a perfect asset to the company. She assists Dr. Seiler in all of his medical proceedures while doing what she does best, making sure that the client feels comfortable and cared for. Without Kim, our spa would not look so pristine, as she also keeps our spa looking immaculate.

Perrin Robinson

A native of Columbus, Mississippi, Perrin is a licensed massage therapist. A graduate of the University of Alabama and the Red Mountain Institute of the Healing Arts, Perrin is certified in clinical and neuromuscular therapy, swedish massage, deep tissue massage, and prenatal massage. Perrin is also certified in treatment of Migraines by using massage techniques and treating the over-all person through a series of consultations that work with the client so that their wants and needs are met without drastic change in lifestyle. (Please note that the client must have seen a physician in order to start this program.) Perrin is also certified in Thai Massage, which is an experience in and of itself with benefits that produce balance and harmony by integrating the body's vital systems such as muscular, skeletal, neural, and glandular to produce invigorated spirit and profound rest.

Kay Smith

Kay Smith is a licensed aesthetician and graduate of Skinactics School of Aesthetics in Birmingham, Alabama. She specializes in anti-aging facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, skin analysis and various waxing services. Another one of her specialties is the Brazilian bikini wax. She has trained with several skin care lines such as Dermalogica and Obagi.

Judy Le

Judy Le is a licensed nail tech. She attained her Bachelors degree at the University of Montevallo. She brings with her nine years experience in manicures and pedicures to Fusion Spa.

Kirsten Larsen-Vansant

Kirsten Larsen-Vansant is a graduate of the University of Montevallo and Red Mountain Institute of the Healing Arts. She works as a licensed massage therapist and is certified to provide swedish, deep tissue, neuromuscular, hot stone, and reflexology massage. She has received extra training in conception, pre-natal, post-partum, and baby massage which allows her to work with prospective parents during issues of infertility, through all stages of pregnancy, during labor and delivery, and once baby is home. Kirsten is currently working on becoming certified in manual lymphatic drainage, or MLD. MLD is used to speed recovery after surgery by manually draining the lymphatic system before and after the procedure. MLD also assists people suffering from all types of problems including lymphedema, fibromyalgia, and allergy problems. Kirsten's overall massage approach is to integrate all these specialities into one specific massage for your particular issues that are presented at the time.

Rodney Fulmer

Rodney is well versed in the comprehensive aspects of the ever-increasing field of health and wellness. Over the past eighteen years he has assisted in the opening of several health clubs in Alabama, serving in both management and training positions. For the last twelve years, his focus has been primarily therapeutic through the use of soft tissue work and injury rehabilitation. Most recently, Rodney has taken his practice to the next level by offering behavioral assistance in order to combat the effects of stress on a person’s physiology.
